If you are a current or past carer, your experience matters.
The 2026 Carer Wellbeing Survey is now open. Each year, carers across Australia share what it is really like to provide care, and how caring affects their health, finances and daily life.
The survey is led by researchers from the University of Canberra, in partnership with Carers Australia and the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. The findings are used to advocate for carers and to guide how carer services are designed and delivered.
You can complete:
- The full survey (30–60 minutes), or
- A short version if time is limited.
You can stop and return later. Your responses are saved as you go.
Carers aged 14 years and over who complete the survey before 4 May 2026 can enter a prize draw to win one of 13 prizes, worth $5,000 in total.
