Today, on World Parkinson’s Day, we proudly launch “I Am More Than My Parkinson’s”, a campaign dedicated to empowering, connecting, and advocating for those living with Parkinson’s by those living with Parkinson’s. Because Parkinson’s doesn’t define a person—it’s just one part of their journey.
 
At Parkinson’s Australia, our promises to our community are in our tagline: National Advocacy. Connection. Awareness. This year’s campaign is about hope-amine, strength, and resilience. It’s about stories that inspire and voices that matter. And it’s about making sure no one faces Parkinson’s alone.

✨Spark the Night 2025

We have also enlisted over 60/500 worldwide landmarks to light up as Parkinson’s PURPLE goes BLUE for global Parkinson’s Awareness. Tonight, these landmarks will light up to raise awareness of the 150,000 Australians and 11.8 million people worldwide who have Parkinson’s. We are so grateful for their support and that they are joining us for a second year in Australia.
