Background: The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has released updated NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits for 2025–26, with changes that took effect from 24 November 2025.

These updates help ensure that pricing and claiming guidance stay aligned with current policy.

For people living with Young Onset Parkinson’s, this update is especially important if you’re accessing supports like therapy, assistive technology, or community participation through the NDIS. It’s a good time to check in with your support coordinator or plan manager to see how these changes might affect your current plan or future funding.

New Operational Guideline for Therapy Supports
The NDIA has also released a new guideline explaining:

  • What therapy supports are
  • When the NDIS will fund them
  • Who can deliver them.

This is particularly relevant for those accessing allied health services like physiotherapy, occupational therapy, or speech pathology, key members of your care team offering supports for managing Parkinson’s symptoms.
