A recent update to the NDIS Act means there’s now a time limit for submitting claims.
From 3 October 2025, claims must be submitted within 2 years of the support start date.
That means:
- You can still submit older claims, even if they’re more than 2 years old, until midnight on 2 October 2025.
- After that, the NDIS system will automatically reject any claim that’s more than 2 years past its support start date.
If you’ve been holding off on submitting older claims, now’s the time to get them in.
